Roto Grip Bowling Products

Roto Grip has been around since the late 1960's. It was based out of New York and run by the Yetito family. The balls at that time were unique in the fact that they were pre-weighted with finger-weight and side weight, and then marked with a 4 point star. The idea was that you just drill right over the four point star and you would not have to scale the ball on a dodo scale. In the early 1990's Roto Grip moved their operation to Florida in hopes of a new beginning. They made a few more bowling balls, but the success they had seen in the 70's and 80's was slowing.

In 1998 Storm Product purchased the brand name from the Yetito family. Since 1998 Storm has manufactured the balls for Roto Grip, the first being the SD-73 ("The Ball Banned from the PBA Tour") From 1998 to 2001 Roto Grip's main focus had been on the overseas market with a few domestic releases each year. In 2001 they hired Hank Bommershine as the Brand Manager and the head of research and development. His main focus was the resurgence of the brand in the domestic marketplace and the continued push in the international market. Roger Noordhoek was hired in 2002 to assist Boomershine with the development of the Roto Grip brand.

In the fall of 2006 Storm & Roto Grip merged their sales department & customer service. Good innovative products and the best customer service is a huge part of what Roto Grip is about and they strive to be, "KING OF THEM ALL."
